At Dixie State: 2017 – Appeared in nine games and made seven starts as a junior … recorded 40 tackles with 6.5 tackles for loss and one sack … logged two pass breakups and one interception.
 
At Bakersfield College: 2015 – Appeared in 10 games as a sophomore … recorded 71 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and one interception … earned first team All-Conference honors … 2014 – Appeared in 10 games as a freshman … recorded 59 tackles and three sacks … earned second team All-Conference honors.
 
At Frontier High School: earned first team All-League honors as a tight end … graduated in June 2014.
 
Personal: Born in Bakersfield, California … parents are Eddie and Jennifer Nichols … also recruited by Humboldt State … currently majoring in exercise science.
