Biography

At Dixie State: 2017 – Appeared in 47 games and made 40 starts as a junior … hit .327 with 35 hits, 26 RBI, eight doubles, and four home runs … named PacWest Player of the Week on February 20 … named PacWest Newcomer of the Year.

At Western Nebraska: 2016 – Appeared in 66 games as sophomore … hit .476 with 99 hits, 100 RBI, 28 doubles, and 25 home runs … set WNCC career home run (49) and doubles (48) records … garnered All-Region and second-team All-America honors … 2015 – Appeared in 67 games as a freshman … hit .436 with 92 hits, 67 RBI, 24 home runs, and 20 doubles … earned first team All-Region and All-America honors.

At Canyon View High School: Earned All-Region (2012-14) and All-State (2014) honors … helped the Falcons to three region championships and a runner-up finish in 2011 … also participated in soccer … graduated in May 2014.

Personal: Born in Sandy, Utah … parents are Alan and Kim Sawyer … mother Kim competed in Track and Field at Southern Utah … currently majoring in biology.
