At Dixie State 2017: Earned Third Team all-PacWest honors and finished the 2017 season as one of 14 finalists for the Josh Willingham National MVP Award after he hit .376 with a PacWest-leading 18 doubles, 10 home runs and a Dixie State single-season record 72 RBI … finished in the top-seven in the conference in batting (6^th), hits (4^th), doubles, HRs (7^th), RBI (2^nd), slugging percentage (6^th, .634), walks (3^rd, 33) and on-base percentage (2^nd, .485) … reached base safely in 51 of 54 games played, 43 of those occasions via base hit with 18 multi-hit games, and he drove in at least two runs in 20 games … posted a .989 fielding percentage with just five errors in 473 total chances.

At Northwestern Oklahoma State 2015-16: Played two seasons for the Rangers and was named second team all-Great American Conference as a freshman catcher … batted .340 with 10 doubles, two triples, two homers and 23 RBI en route to NOSU Freshman Athlete of the Year honors … hit .321 with four home runs during his sophomore campaign and was named NOSU Sophomore Athlete of the Year.

At Valley Vista High School: Was a two-time first team all-region selection for the Monsoon … batted .450 during his junior year and .398 as a senior.

Personal: Born in Phoenix, Arizona … parents are Peter and Heidi Porter … favorite team is the New York Yankees … favorite player is Derek Jeter … also recruited by Arizona and Paradise Valley CC … currently majoring in criminal justice.
