At North Medford High School: First Team All-Conference and First Team All-State honors … helped team to state championship as a junior … recorded a 25-3 record with 170 strikeouts and a 0.91 ERA in 170 innings pitched as a senior … graduated in May 2014.

Personal: Born in Escondido, California … parents are Tom Barkwell and Jodi O’Connor … currently majoring in criminal justice.
