Biography

At Dixie State: 2015 – Appeared in and started all 10 games as a junior … rushed for a school-record 879 yards and 10 touchdowns on 128 carries … logged 469 kickoff return yards on 22 attempts … led the team in all-purpose yards with 1,348 yards.

At Sacramento State 2014 – Appeared in 12 games as a redshirt sophomore … Rushed for 440 yards and seven touchdowns on 94 carries … 2013 – Appeared in three games as a sophomore … rushed for 26 yards on eight carries … medical redshirt was granted retrospectively for 2013 season in spring 2016 …  2012 – Appeared in nine games as a freshman … rushed for 209 yards and three touchdowns on 45 carries.

At Arleta High School: LA City Section touchdown record holder (71 touchdowns) … varsity team captain … scored 47 total touchdowns as a senior … named to San Fernando Valley chapter Hall of Fame … graduated in June 2012.

Personal: Born in Long Beach, California … parents are James Coleman and Barbara Owens … also recruited by USC, Utah State, Nevada, and Western Oregon … currently majoring in sociology.
