Biography

At Dixie State 2017-18 (Junior): Voted Pacific West Conference Player of the Year, earned First Team all-PacWest, and garnered DII PING all-West Region honors … won two events during the spring season, including medalist honors at 2018 PacWest Championships (4/23-25), and the Western New Mexico Mustang Intercollegiate (4/2-3), where he tied a DSU program record with a final round 9-under 63 … posted four top-five individual showings and finished with five total top-10s in eight season events, which included a runner-up finish at the NDNU Argonaut Inv'l (3/12-13) … was a two-time PacWest Player of the Week honoree and led the team with a 72.74 scoring average in 23 competitive rounds with a co-team high 11 rounds of par or better.

2016-17 (Sophomore):
Played in all 11 events and earned first team all-PacWest, PacWest tournament, and DII PING all-West Region honors … set a new NCAA-era program record with a 72.43 scoring average in 30 competitive rounds … posted three top-five finishes and a team-high 13 rounds of par or better on the year, including a record-setting effort at the PacWest Championships, where he broke DSU’s 18 (63), 36 (134) and 54-hole (202) scoring records en route to a runner-up individual finish … Britt’s 9-under 63, which was shot in the second round, also shattered the PacWest’s 18-hole championship scoring record … also placed t-third at the Notre Dame de Namur Argonaut Invitational and t-fourth at the Cal State Monterey Bay Otter Invite, which earned him PacWest Player of the Week honors.

2015-16 (Freshman):
Competed in nine events as a freshman … carded two rounds of par or better, including a career-best 68 in just his third collegiate round at the season-opening Saint Martin’s Men’s Invitational …  also fired an even par 72 in the first round of the Western New Mexico Fall Intercollegiate … posted a 75.20 scoring average in 22 rounds played.

At Millard High School: Played golf for two years for the Eagles ... was a first team all-region and all-state selection ... graduated in May of 2015.

At Dixie High School: Was a two-year varsity letter winner as a freshman and sophomore ... helped lead Flyers to the 3A state title as a freshman.

Personal: Born in Fillmore, Utah … parents are Adam and Penny Britt … wife Tayler (Brenchly) was a member of the 2016-17 DSU women’s golf team … favorite team is the Golden State Warriors … also recruited by Southern Utah and Weber State … currently majoring in business administration.

Why I chose Dixie State: “I chose Dixie State because it is an excellent school with an outstanding golf program.”
