At Dixie State 2016: Played in 32 games with 22 starts (21 at DH) and batted .230 with five homers and 14 RBI … also legged out two doubles and finished with 16 runs scored … 2015: Started in 32 of 36 games played and hit .222 with two doubles, one home run, 14 RBI and 15 runs scored … recorded three two-hit games (at UH-Hilo, vs. Academy of Art, vs. California Baptist) and hit his first collegiate home run vs. Holy Names on March 21. 

At Utah 2014: Redshirted at the University of Utah as a freshman.

At Riverton High School: Was a Utah 5A first-team all-state selection as a senior and was a second team pick as a junior ... two-time all-region honoree ... hit .329 with 17 RBI for the Silverwolves as a senior ... earned MVP honors after going 3-for-3 with two triples, one double and 3 RBI in the Utah High School Baseball All-Star Game.

Personal: Born in Salt Lake City, Utah … parents are Kevin and Joan Gust … favorite team is the Washington Nationals … also recruited by Utah, BYU, Utah Valley, the United States Military Academy at West Point, Salt Lake CC and College of Southern Idaho … currently majoring in communication/media studies.
