(St. George, Utah - July 13, 2026) - The Utah Tech cross country program released its 2026 schedule on Monday.

Set to run in four meets in the regular season before postseason action gets started at the Big Sky Championships, the Trailblazers open the season on Saturday, Sept. 5 at the Northern Arizona George Kyte Classic in Flagstaff at Buffalo Park.

Heading to the UC Riverside Invitational for a fifth straight season, the Trailblazers will race in Riverside on Sept. 19.

The month of October sees the Trailblazers make the close trip to Cedar City for the SUU Color Country Invitational on Oct. 3 before closing out the regular season at the Under Armour Pre-National Invitational hosted by Indiana State in Terre Haute, Ind. on Oct. 16.

The postseason opens on Oct. 30 with the Big Sky Championships hosted by Northern Arizona in Flagstaff at Buffalo Park with the Trailblazers competing against the 10 other Big Sky programs. Northern Arizona won both the men's and women's races last season as both Lumberjack teams went on to eighth-place team finishes at the NCAA Championships.

The season closes out with the NCAA West Regional Championships in Sacramento, Calif. on Nov. 13 looking to qualify for the NCAA Cross Country Championships that will be hosted by Indiana State at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course on Nov. 21.

On the men's side, the Trailblazers return eight runners and welcome six newcomers while the women's team brings back nine returners and bring in seven newcomers.

The men are led by four seniors, including 2024 All-WAC Second Team selection Ryan Hatch, while the women also feature four seniors and bring back their top six finishers from both the WAC Championships & the NCAA West Regional Championships.
