Utah Tech junior outfielder
Hudson Manwaring was named University Credit Union Western Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Week on Monday afternoon.
Â
Manwaring was a tough out last weekend in Utah Tech's road series at UT Arlington, against which he batted a combined .714 (10-for-14) in the three-game set with a pair of doubles, five RBI and three runs scored.
Â
After going 2-for-3 in Friday's series opener, Manwaring went 4-for-5 and drove in a career-high five run, highlighted by a bases clearing three-run double, in the Trailblazers 16-4 game two victory on Saturday afternoon.
Â
The junior outfielder followed that up with four more hits in Sunday's finale with another double and two runs scored.Â
Â
Manwaring has hit safely in seven-straight games, and in 15 of his last 18 starts overall with 11 multi-hit outings (32-for-73, .438), and he has raised his season batting average over 60 points to .327 heading into the final week of the 2026 regular season.Â
