Trailblazers Blanked in Series Finale at Tarleton State on Saturday

The Trailblazers return home to wrap up the regular season next weekend hosting Abilene Christian on Friday and Saturday at Karl Brooks Field.

(Stephenville, Texas - April 25, 2026) - The Trailblazers fell 11-0 to Tarleton State in the series finale on Saturday afternoon at Tarleton Softball Complex.

Utah Tech (16-31, 3-12 WAC) was held to three hits, all singles, in the contest with base knocks by Kinley Pappas, Baylee Howley and Kamryn Caldwell.

How It Happened
Blanked on the scoreboard for only the second time in WAC action, Tarleton State (34-18, 12-3 WAC) jumped on Trailblazer starting pitcher Sauren Garton for four runs in the first inning knocking her out of the contest.

An RBI double in the second pushed the Texans lead to 5-0 and six more runs followed for Tarleton in the third inning to extend their lead to 11-0 going on to win by that margin.
