Colorado Mesa (11-15, 0-0 RMAC) got out to a promising start by taking the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and 3.
Mariana Zurita Berdecio and
Ana Gutierrez Sampere did take the victory at Doubles No. 1, but it ultimately wasn't enough for the doubles point.
The Trailblazers (10-11, 0-1 WAC) dismantled the momentum gained from the Mavericks winning the doubles point by taking five of the six singles matches. Seniors
Nicole Kells and
Raquel Roshak got their day started by securing wins at Singles No. 5 and 6, both in just two sets. UT then took care of business at Singles No. 1, 2, and 3 to complete the 5-2 victory in match one of the doubleheader.

To start the second match of the day, Utah Tech flipped the script from game one and took the doubles point with strong showings at Doubles No. 1 and 3.
Maya Inouye and
Raquel Roshak teamed up for just the second time this season and picked up their first doubles win together, 6-1.
The Trailblazers then took the strong doubles play and carried it over to the singles matches, where they won four out of six to secure a second consecutive 5-2 win over Colorado Mesa.
Utah Tech was highlighted in singles play by Gutierrez Sampere and Inouye as they each made quick work of their opponents at Singles No. 2 and 4.
Raquel Roshak continued her winning ways on senior day, picking up a win at Singles No. 5 7-6 (7-5), 6-2. Roshak picked up her second singles win of the day, and third overall.
This was the third match of the year between the Mavericks and Trailblazers, with Utah Tech winning all three contests.
The Trailblazers finish the regular season at 11-11, which is their highest win total as a Division 1 program.
