(St. George, Utah - Jan. 6, 2025) - The 2025 Utah Tech softball schedule was announced by head coach Randy Simkins on Monday as the Trailblazers are set to play 50 games across the regular season with 18 set for Karl Brooks Field in St. George.

After finishing fifth in the WAC regular season last season, the Trailblazers get the 2025 season underway at the Stacy Winsberg Memorial Tournament on Feb. 7-9 facing UC Riverside, UCLA, CSUN, Southern and Cal State Fullerton.

Utah Tech then heads to the Hawai'i Spring Fling Tournament facing Sacramento State (Feb. 13 & Feb. 15), Western Illinois (Feb. 14), CSU Bakersfield (Feb. 15) along with a pair of contests against host Hawai'i (Feb. 14 & Feb. 16).

Making their way back from the islands, the Trailblazers will return to St. George for the Lyman Classic Tournament hosting Boise State (Feb. 20), UC San Diego (Feb. 21), Idaho State (Feb. 22), Utah State (Feb. 22) and Weber State (Feb. 23).

Non-conference action wraps up the following weekend with the Louisville Slugger Invitational hosted by Long Beach State facing Loyola Marymount (Feb. 28), Long Beach State (Feb. 28), Cal Poly (March 1), Pittsburgh (March 1) and Omaha (March 2).

The following weekend sees WAC action get underway at UT Arlington (March 7-8) before coming back home for a season-long seven-game homestand starting on March 11 with Big 12 member BYU.

The weekend sees Seattle U come for a visit on March 14-15 and the Trailblazers stay at home the following weekend hosting Utah Valley on March 21-22.

The final week of March sees the Trailblazers head for a non-conference contest at UNLV on March 25 and travel to Texas to take on Abilene Christian on March 28-29.

After a quick trip back home to host Tarleton State (April 4-5), UT will head back on the road staying in-state for a single contest at BYU on April 8 and a weekend series nearby at Southern Utah on April 11-12.

The final two weekends of WAC action wrap up with Senior Weekend back in St. George welcoming California Baptist (April 18-19) before the final weekend of WAC action sees UT travel to Grand Canyon (April 25-26).

One final pair of non-conference contests sends the Trailblazers to Weber State for a doubleheader on May 3. The 2025 WAC Tournament is set for May 7-10 hosted by California Baptist in Riverside at John C. Funk Stadium.

Utah Tech is coming off a 19-31 overall mark in 2024 while finishing 12-13 in the WAC. The Trailblazers bring back 13 returners while welcoming nine newcomers to the fold this season, including six freshmen.
