Utah Tech head men's basketball coach Jon Judkins has announced the signing of Utah State transfer Dallin Grant to a financial aid agreement ahead of the upcoming 2024-25 season. Grant redshirted last year with the Aggie program and has all four years of eligibility remaining.

"We are extremely excited to have Dallin joining our program," said Coach Judkins. "Having watched Dallin play his high school ball right up the road on I-15, we are very familiar and confident with his talents on the court. He brings great size and shooting ability to our roster. We're thrilled to have him healthy and suited up in a Utah Tech jersey."

The 6-8 wing originally signed at Utah State during the early signing period in November of 2020 out of Cedar High School in Cedar City, Utah. During his senior season at CHS, Grant helped lead the Reds to their first state championship in 25 years and was named 2020-21 Utah 4A Player of the Year.

Grant averaged a team-best 16.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per game that season, and was second on the team in assists at 2.4 assists per game. He was also a second team all-state selection as a junior when he averaged close to 15 points per game. Grant closed his prep career averaging more than 15 points, nine rebounds and two assists per game, while shooting better than 57 percent from the floor.

Grant joins a Trailblazer signing class that includes fall signees Owen Mackay from St. George's Snow Canyon HS, Hunter Schenck from Weber (UT) HS, and Tanner Davis from Sky View (UT) HS.
