Utah Tech junior tight end Eni Falayi was the lone Trailblazer representative on the 2024 United Athletic Conference football postseason awards list, which was announced on Friday. Falayi was named to the conference's first team, as voted upon by the league's head coaches.

Despite being limited to only six games played due to injury, Falayi led all UAC tight ends in receptions (31), yards (417) and touchdowns (5) this past season.

Falayi (6-4, 240; Boston Mass./Willis Northampton HS/UMass) got off to a solid start in his Trailblazer debut season, catching four passes for 48 yards in the season opener vs. Montana State (8/31), before leaving that game with an injury.

The junior returned to the line-up for the Austin Peay game (10/19), and proceeded to record 27 total receptions for 369 yard and his team-high five touchdowns over the final five games of the year.

After going for 57 yards on three catches and a touchdown at Eastern Kentucky (10/26), he enjoyed a stellar afternoon in the Trailblazers' win over then nationally-ranked Central Arkansas (11/2), against which he hauled in a collegiate career-high 10 balls for 105 yards and a touchdown.

Falayi followed that up with a career-high 133 yards on six receptions and a Utah Tech NCAA-era program record tying three touchdowns in the season finale at Southern Utah (11/23), highlighted by an 81-yard catch-and-run for the second of his two first quarter scores.
