Utah Tech Football announced the addition of six transfers as the Trailblazers officially open their 2023 fall camp on Tuesday.
The Trailblazers bolstered their depth on the offensive back field with the additions of running backs
Chris Street (California) and
Ronnie Walker Jr. (Virginia). Utah Tech also four players on defense in defensive lineman Moon Ashby (Washington State), linebacker
Dondi Fuller (UNLV/Arkansas-Monticello) and defensive backs
Dominic Brown (UNLV) and
Anthony Hebert (Mount SAC JC).
Street (Jr.; Eastvale, Calif./5-9/210) was part of the Cal program for three seasons, appearing in 12 career games during the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Street, who redshirted last season, ran for 109 yards on 22 attempts with one touchdown in his career as a Bear.
Walker Jr. (5
th year; Hopewell, Va./5-10/210) played three seasons at Virginia, where he ran for 138 yards on 38 carries and three touchdowns in 18 games for the Cavaliers. Walker Jr. began his collegiate career at Indiana, where he rushed for 221 yards on 59 carries and two TDs in 22 career games as a Hoosier.
Ashby (So.; San Jose, Calif./6-4/235) spent three seasons in the Palouse, the first two of which were spent on the defensive line before moving over to tight end last season. Ashby appeared in four games during the 2022 campaign, mostly on special teams, and did not record a reception. Ashby is slated to return to his defensive end position with the Trailblazer program.
Fuller (Sr.; Belleville, Ill./6-1/225) saw time in two games at Arkansas-Monticello last season, where he finished with 12 total tackles and one sack. Prior to UAM, he played two seasons at UNLV in 2020-21, where he played in 12 career games and racked up eight tackles. Fuller started his collegiate career at Division II New Mexico Highlands in 2019, where he appeared in 10 games and tallied 33 total tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss.
Brown (Sr.; Oxnard, Calif./6-2/195) played two seasons at UNLV (2020-21), where he collected three career tackles in nine games. Brown, who originally signed at Montana State out of high school, played his freshman season at Ventura (CA) College, where he collected 35 tackles, 1.5 sacks and three interceptions.
Hebert (Jr.; Corona, Calif./6-1/175) played in 11 games at Mount SAC last season and racked up 41 total tackles, including 7.5 TFLs, along with five interceptions and one forced fumble during a stellar sophomore campaign. He also appeared in four games and collected two tackles as a true freshman in 2021.
