Utah Tech softball has announced the addition of Sadie Gardner, a transfer from Snow College, who will join the Trailblazer softball program in January.
 
Gardner, currently a freshman at Snow College, will be with the Trailblazers as they begin their spring 2023 season in January.  A 6'2" four-year letter winner from Draper, Utah, Sadie played both basketball and softball at Alta High School.  She was named Female Athlete of the Year in 2022.  She was also an honor roll student all four years in high school. 
 
"Sadie is a tremendous athlete whose speed and length are her greatest assets.  She's a slapper who is very difficult to pitch to and finds ways to consistently be on base and keep innings going.  Whether she hits at the top or the bottom of our lineup, she will make an impact.  Sadie will add speed and athleticism to an already strong outfield group.  I've watched Sadie grow and develop as a player over the last few years and she's always impressed me on the field.  Getting to know her off the field during the recruiting process, she has impressed me even more.  She is motivated to not only be a great player, but to be great in the classroom as well.  We can't wait to have her join our program."
