Dixie State softball is excited to announce the 2022 season schedule. 
 
"We're excited about our 2022 spring schedule," head coach Randy Simkins said. "We have a great schedule with very good teams lined up to play us, both here and on the road.  We're fortunate to be able to play three out of the five preseason weekends here on our home field. In addition to a tough WAC schedule, we will host non-conference games here at Karl Brooks Field with teams from six different conferences."  

The Trailblazers are set to open the season on the road at the Cal State Fullerton tournament. 
DSU will host Utah State in a three game series Feb. 19-20 in the home opener. 

Dixie will host two tournaments the first Feb. 25-27 and the second March 11-13. DSU will have one more pre-season tournament March 4-6 at UC Davis. 

The Trailblazers are scheduled to have a mid-week game March 2 at home against in-state rival, Southern Utah before starting WAC action by hosting Utah Valley. All WAC competitions are scheduled to be a three-game series with double headers on Friday and a single game on Saturday. 

Amidst all the WAC competitions, DSU will take on UNLV in Las Vegas, March 22 and then later host UNLV at Karl Brooks Field April 5. 

DSU will also have midweek games against BYU, April 12 in Provo, Utah and then later April 26 at home. DSU will also head to SUU on April 19. 

The season will come to an end May 6 and 7 with the three game series against Seattle U at home.
