Home games against in-state foe Weber State and future Western Athletic Conference opponents Tarleton State and Stephen F. Austin, dot Dixie State's 11-game 2021 football schedule, which was officially unveiled on Monday. DSU will host six of its 11 games inside Greater Zion Stadium, while five of the 11 opponents on the Trailblazers' fall docket are 2021 FCS spring playoff teams.  

The Trailblazers will open the campaign with a two-game homestand, beginning with a date vs. Big Sky Conference member Sacramento State on Saturday, Sept. 4, followed a week later with the in-state showdown against Weber State on Saturday, Sept. 11.

Dixie State will then embark on a three-game road swing, which starts at Big Sky member UC Davis on Saturday, Sept. 18. Following a bye week (Sept. 25), the Blazers head to the "Mount Rushmore State" for a match-up against Missouri Valley Football Conference opponent South Dakota State on Saturday, Oct. 2, and will conclude the road swing at Big Sky member Montana on Saturday, Oct. 9.

DSU returns home for two home dates vs. Tarleton on Saturday, Oct. 16, and SFA on Homecoming Saturday, Oct. 23, before wrapping up its 2021 road slate with games at Colonial Athletic Association member Delaware on Saturday, Oct. 30, and at future WAC opponent Sam Houston State on Saturday, Nov. 6.

The Blazers will close out the season with two home games against former Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference foe Fort Lewis on Saturday, Nov. 13, and MVFC member Missouri State on Saturday, Nov. 20.

All six home dates will begin at 7 p.m., while starting times for the five road games have yet to be determined. Season and single game ticket information for the 2021 season will be announced in the near future.
