Originally signed to play at Hawai'i in 2019 … redshirted in 2019 and appeared in one game during the 2020 season, during which he rushed for two yards vs. UNLV (12/12/20) … prepped at American Fork HS, where he earned 2018 Utah 6A MVP and first team all-state honors after he threw for 4,438 yards on 308-514 passing and 47 touchdowns … also rushed for 436 yards on 106 carries with eight TDs ..,. led the Cavemen to the 2018 6A state title game, where he broke three state championship game records for passing yards (516), completions (36) and attempts (60) … set 12 new school records over his prep career … also lettered in baseball and track … also recruited by Wyoming, Colorado State, Weber State, Southern Utah and UC Davis.
