Dixie State University Athletics has announced its NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) debut schedule for the spring of 2021. The Trailblazers, who will compete as an FCS independent, have six games on its docket, including three home games at Greater Zion Stadium.
Three of Dixie State's first four games will come on the road, beginning with the first game of a home-and-home series with fellow FCS newcomer Tarleton State, which will be played on Saturday, Feb. 27, in Stephenville, Texas. DSU will follow that up one week later with a road date at FBS member New Mexico State on Saturday, March 6, in Las Cruces.
The Trailblazers will make their home FCS debut against Tarleton on Saturday, March 13, before closing out the road portion of the spring season with a trip to Georgia to play at Kennesaw State on Saturday, March 20. DSU will then close the season with back-to-back home games against former Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference foes Fort Lewis (March 27) and New Mexico Highlands (April 3).
All three home dates will begin at 7 p.m., while times for the three road games have yet to be determined. Season and single game ticket information for the spring season will be announced in the near future.
