Dixie State softball is set to host its annual June and July Summer Showcase Camps.
The June Summer Showcase Camp will be held on Monday and Tuesday, June 17-18, 2019. The camp will be held at Karl Brooks Field in St George, Utah, and will run Monday, June 17, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m and Tuesday, June 18, from 8 a.m. to Noon. Cost for the camp is $150 per camper.
The annual July Summer Showcase Camp is set for Monday and Tuesday, July 15-16, 2019. The camp will also be held at Karl Brooks Field and will run Monday, July 15, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Tuesday, July 16, from 8 a.m. to Noon. Cost for the camp is $150 per camper.
Instructors for the camps include the Dixie State coaching staff along with select current and former DSU softball players. The camps are geared toward players who have a strong desire to increase their individual skill level and to play softball at the collegiate level. The camps are limited to players in grades 7 - 12 (for the 2019-20 school year) who are 2020 - 2025 graduates. The camps will include both high level instruction in all areas of the game and provide each camper an opportunity to showcase their skills for the DSU coaching staff.
