ST. GEORGE, Utah - After a long road trip the Dixie State women's basketball team returns home to host Notre Dame de Namur to start a four-game homestand.
The Red Storm (6-14, 5-9) take on the Argonauts (4-17, 2-12) at 5 p.m. MT on Saturday, Feb. 7 in the Burns Arena.
STORM STORYLINES
-Jenny Thigpin was officially named the head coach, removing the interim tag from her title on Jan. 22
-Dixie State welcomes Angela Kristensen back to the Burns. It's the first time the former Red Storm coach has been back since serving as head coach for seven seasons.
-Point guard Leslie Tademy (Phoenix, AZ/South Mountain) is No. 4 in the PacWest with 4.9 assists per game. Tademy is also No. 3 in assist to turnover ratio (1.5)
-Kaylah Miller (San Diego, CA/La Jolla Country Day) moved up to No. 7 in the PacWest in scoring with 14.6 points per game. She is Dixie State's career leader in 3-pointers made with 185.
-Taylor Mann (Castle Dale, UT/Emery) is No. 7 in league in rebounding at 9.4, and No. 8 in blocks per game with 1.2. She averages nearly a double-double per game, with 10.8 points as well. Mann has nine double-doubles this season.
