ST. GEORGE, Utah - The last road trip of the regular season sends the Dixie State women's basketball team to Fresno Pacific on Saturday, Feb. 21.
Tip is set for 2:30 p.m. PT/3:30 p.m. MT from Fresno, Calif.
Dixie State (8-16, 7-11) defeated Fresno Pacific (5-17, 5-12) in St. George on Dec. 13 by a score 79-71.
STORM STORYLINES
-Jenny Thigpin returns to Fresno Pacific where she coached for two seasons before coming to Dixie State.
-Leslie Tademy (Phoenix, AZ/South Mountain) led the team with 18 points in DSU's 79-71 win over FPU earlier this year.
-Kaylah Miller (San Diego, CA/La Jolla Country Day) joined elite company, recording her 1,000th career point against HPU. She is just the second player in DSU's women's program to hit the 1,000 mark. Johnna Brown is Dixie State's leading scorer with 1,212.
-Miller is the Red Storm's career leader in made 3-pointers with 197 and will be the first to ever hit 200. She's also fourth in assists with 183 and counting.
-Chermayne Moore (Pinole, CA/Hercules) scored 16 againt HPU and has averaged 10.5 points per game since joining the starting line up mid-January.
-After missing nearly four weeks, Taylor Maynes (Salome, AZ/Salome) has been back for the last three games. She averages 8.1 points and 7.3 boards.
