GEORGE, Utah - The No. 8 seed Dixie State women's volleyball team begins postseason play at the NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Championship with a West Regional matchup against No. 1 seed Northwest Nazarene on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. MT in Nampa, Idaho.Dixie State (20-8, 17-3) closed out the season strong, winning five of its last six, including a dominant 3-0 sweep of Fresno Pacific on the road. Northwest Nazarene (24-2, 17-1) won the GNAC title and earned the top ranking in the region to earn hosting honors. The Crusaders won their last 11 in a row.

Dixie State made the NCAA West Regional for the second consecutive year after making it for the first time in program history in 2013.
REMATCH
Early this season, Northwest Nazarene and Dixie State faced eachother at the GNAC/PacWest Crossover. NNU won in 3-2 fashion. Maddie Rex (Tucson, AZ/Sabino) and Edithza Urias (Bakersfield, CA/Golden Valley) had 15 and 14 kills, respectively.
