WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL STORYLINES

 GETTING ATTENTION
After winning eight in a row and staying unblemished in the Pacific West Conference, the Dixie State Red Storm received 10 votes in the latest AVCA Coaches Top 25. The Storm are close to breaking in with a few more wins on the Hawaii road swing.

BATTLE OF UNBEATENS
If Dixie State can get through its first two opponents it will likely set up a showdown of the only two remaining undefeated teams in Pacific West Conference play. Ranked No. 4 in the nation, BYU-Hawaii will be a tough test for the red-hot Red Storm in Laie.

CHAMINADE, HPU, BYUH and HILO
Chaminade has been an early surprise with a 10-7 record this season, already surpassing its win total from last year. HPU took BYUH to five sets and edged Chaminade in another five set thriller. BYUH has won seven straight matches, swept Chaminde 3-0 earlier and went five before defeating Hawaii Pacific. Despite only four wins, two have come against HPU and Chaminade for the Vulcans of Hilo.
