Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 RIVERSIDE, Calif. --  The Dixie State softball team won the first game of a doubleheader today in dramatic fashion by scoring the tying and winning runs with two outs in the top of the seventh inning. The Red Storm defeated California Baptist 7-6, but dropped the second game 4-0 today at John C. Funk Stadium in Riverside.

Johnna Brown (Las Vegas, NV/Centennial )'s RBI groundout tied the game at six and Anna Cue (Murrieta Valley, CA/Murrieta Valley High School) followed with the eventual game winning RBI double to help the Red Storm steal the opening game from the the Lancers.

In game two, the Lancers one-hit the Red Storm to win 4-0 and salvage a series split.
