GAME INFO: Dixie State concludes their four game road swing to the San Francsico Bay Area with a meeting in Belmont with Notre Dame de Namur. Tip off is scheduled for 1:00 pm, with live audio coverage on Dixie State All Access (DixieAtheltics.com/showcase) and 91.3 FM KXDS. "Voice of the Red Storm," John Potter has the play-by-play.

ALL-TIME vs. NDNU: The Red Storm hold 9-5 all-time advantage over NDNU in the series. But the Argos are 3-4 at home against the Red Storm. DSC has won five in a row, including the last meeting that was in Belomont 76-63 on 1/7/12.

LAST TIME OUT:
OAKLAND, Calif. -- After missing the previous game due to injury, Johnna Brown (Las Vegas, NV/Centennial ) scored 27 points and grabbed 18 rebounds for her 12th double double of the season in a 76-65 loss to Holy Names inside the Tobin Gym in Oakland, Calif.

29 turnovers were too much for the Red Storm to overcome as they drop to 11-11 overall and 9-5 in the PacWest.

Brown was the only player to score in double figures as DSC managed to shot just 34.8 percent from field and 54.8 (17-31) from the free throw line.

Trailing 25-35 at the half, the Hawks managed to build their lead to 18 points in the second half. The Red Storm continued to chip away at the HNU lead and used a 7-2 run with 3:35 left to cut the lead to seven points. But, the advantage was too much to overcome.

Chanel Maxey (Anaheim, CA/Canyon) score seven points and grabbed seven rebounds.

With the win the Hawks improve to 11-12 overall and 5-9 in the PacWest. Four HNU players scored in double figures, including a a game high 26 points from Britney Potestio.


NCAA STATS: Johnna Brown (Las Vegas, NV/Centennial ) currently ranks 7th in the NCAA in rebounding at 11.8 per game. She also ranks tied for 12th in double-doubles with 12. As far as a team, DSC is 21st in assists per game (16.50).

RED STORM NOTES: Having their three game winning streak snapped on Thursday night, the Red Storm didnt really come prepared to as they had their Valentines Day spoiled by Holy Names. They look to begin another streak and get back on the winning side against NDNU. Johnna Brown (Las Vegas, NV/Centennial ) returned with a vengance on Thursday, scoring a 28 points and grabbing 18 rebounds. She continues to shoulder the majority of the work load for the Red Storm, leading scorer at 15.7 ppg and the leading rebounder at 11.8 rpg. Turnovers continue to plaque DSC as they average 20.7 and have a minus 3.8 turnover margin. They shoot 41.1 percent and average 69.6 ppg.

SCOUTING NDNU: The Argos have lost four games in a row, including a 73-28 loss to nationally ranked Grand Canyon. NDNU has a record of 3-18 overall and 2-11 in the PacWest. They shoot just 32.5 percent from the field and average 52.9 ppg. The team turns to Trisha Malaspia for the load of their offense. She averages 10.2 ppg and 7.0 rpg. All three Argo wins have come at home.
