RED STORM VS. THE WILDCATS
Until the 2012 season, the all-time series had been entirely one-sided in favor of the Wildcats. The first eight meetings ended with CWU in the win column. Only three of those meetings saw final margin of CWU victory less than 10 points. The Red Storm got their only win in the series last year – a 29-21 win at Hansen Stadium on Oct. 6. Central got back on board winning the earlier meeting, as described below. The Wildcats lead the overall series 10-1.

LAST MEETING WITH CWU
Jesse Zalk scored the tying touchdown on a seven-yard reception with 2:28 left, then set up a 44-yard game-winning field goal by Sean McDonald with a 26-yard catch to the Dixie 29 with 14 seconds remaining as Central Washington rallied from a 17-3 halftime deficit to edge Dixie State, 27-24. CWU won despite being outgained by the Red Storm 479 to 341.

BOOTED AT THE BUZZER, AGAIN.
Jamie Cacciatore kicked a 25-yard field goal as time expired to give the Cougars a 23-20 win and their first GNAC football title in their second year in the conference. The winning drive came right after Dixie had tied the game with 1:51 remaining on a 44-yard pass from Griff Robles (Spanish Fork, UT/Spanish Fork) to Joel Davis (Natchez, MS/Natchez) ... Dixie never touched the ball again as Azusa Pacific drove 52 yards to APU's seven in seven plays.  Running back Terrell Watson who rushed for 123 yards on 28 carries had consecutive runs of 10, five, minus 4 and 12 prior to the game-winning three-pointer.  On his final carry, Watson broke the GNAC single-season rushing record increasing his season total to 1,582 ... Earlier in the quarter, Watson scored on a five-yard run to tie the game at 13-13 and equal the GNAC single-season record for most rushing touchdowns of 18 ... The Cougars then went ahead 20-13 on a three-yard run by Ronald Douglas with 2:39 remaining. Stewart had a career-high 271 passing yards, completing 23 of 34 without an interception. Robles had 337 yards in total offense, 74 rushing on 17 carries and 263 passing (19-32-3), recording his eighth consecutive 300-yard total offense game.  That is twice as many as anyone else in GNAC history.  The previous record was four by Mike Reilly of Central Washington in 2008.  Mitch Frei (Santa Clara, UT/Snow Canyon) was Robles' top receiver catching six for 86 yards.  Joe Don Duncan (Corona, CA/Notre Dame) had five for 45 yards ... Defensive back Justin Ence (St. George, UT/Pine View) led Dixie in tackles with 12. Linebacker Jake Duncan (Corona, CA/Notre Dame) had nine.

NOTABLES FROM THE APU GAME:
•     Griff Robles (Spanish Fork, UT/Spanish Fork) was picked three times - his third highest total in a single game. He was intercepted four
times twice in 2013 (Adams State, Azusa Pacific)
•     Justin Ence (St. George, UT/Pine View) set a career-high with 12 tackles
•     Mitch Frei (Santa Clara, UT/Snow Canyon) has the longest current streak of catching a TD in five straight games. The longest streak
is six games from Joe Don Duncan (Corona, CA/Notre Dame) in weeks 1-6.

A WIN BY DIXIE STATE WOULD...
•     Be the first win on Senior Day at home since 2010 - an 18-15 win over Simon Fraser (Oct. 23)
•     Put the Storm at a .500 league record for the first time
•     Be the 3rd win in the month of November since the NCAA D-II transition in 2006; DSU is 2-12 in
    November games
