The all-time series against Simon Fraser tilted in DSU's favor with a 39-12 victory on Oct. 5 in St. George. Previously, each team owned a three-game winning streak. Dixie State won the first trio of meetings (28-21, 18-15, 42-7), including twice at Hansen Stadium. After that, the Clan won the next three meetings. SFU tallied a 62-56 win in triple overtime on Oct. 8, 2011, to notch their first win in the GNAC. SFU took the 2012 series with a 41-28 win in Burnaby and a 58-47 shootout victory last October at Hansen Stadium.

Quarterback Griff Robles (Spanish Fork, UT/Spanish Fork) led the Red Storm on touchdown drives of 77 yards (5 plays), 90 yards (8 plays), 96 yards (5 plays) and 76 yards (5 plays) accounting for much of the yardage himself in a 28-19 win over Humboldt State. Robles scored on runs of 2, 21 and 50 yards and also tossed a 28-yard touchdown pass to Mitch Frei (Santa Clara, UT/Snow Canyon). The Dixie quarterback finished the contest with 484 yards in total offense, becoming the first player in GNAC history to both rush (217) and pass (267) for at least 200 yards in the same game. His total offense of 484 yards is the third highest total in GNAC history and is 217 rushing yards is 11th, first among quarterbacks. NOTABLES FROM THE HSU GAME:

• Griff Robles (Spanish Fork, UT/Spanish Fork) is the single-season rushing TD record holder in the Division-II era with nine - three better

than Stefan Cantwell in 2011 and Tauni Vakapuna in 2009.

• Jake Duncan (Corona, CA/Notre Dame) accrued the most tackle for loss yardage in a single game in 2013 with 20 yards on 2.5

• Mitch Frei (Santa Clara, UT/Snow Canyon) has the longest current streak of catching a TD in three straight games. The longest streak

was six games from Joe Don Duncan (Corona, CA/Notre Dame) in weeks 1-6.

A WIN BY DIXIE STATE WOULD...

• Be the second season sweep of the Clan (2010).

• Surpass the win total from the 2012 season, when the Red Storm went 3-8.

• Be the 2nd win in the month of November since the NCAA D-II transition in 2006; DSU is 1-11 in
