After holding the Sea Warriors at bay in the third, the Red Storm erupted for six runs in the bottom of the third.  After Jaelle Judkins (Saint George, UT/Dixie High School) drew a one out walk, Courtney Hine (San Dimas, CA/San Dimas High School) singled up the middle. Johnna Brown (Las Vegas, NV/Centennial ) loaded the bases on a error by the second baseman. Mendenhall followed with an RBI single up the middle and Anna Cue (Murrieta Valley, CA/Murrieta Valley High School) reloaded the bases with a single through the left side. Courtney Sherwin (Mesa, AZ/Red Mountain High School) followed with a 3RBI triple giving the Red Storm a 7-6 lead. Nicole Chavez (Chino Hills, CA/Ayala High School) plated the last DSC run in the inning with a RBI sacrifice fly to centerfield.
