GAME INFO:  The Red Storm host Cal Baptist, the newest member of the PacWest. This will the first of two games against the Lancers. Tuesday's night's tip off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Listen to the live action on the Red Storm Radio Network -- KXDS 91.3 FM -- and online via DixieAthletics.com with John Potter calling the play-by-play.

SERIES RECORD: Reuniting for the first time since December of 2006 when DSC defeated CBU 81-59 in the Burns Arena. This will mark the 3rd time the Red Storm have played, with each team winning on their home floor. DSC lost to CBU on 12/09/06 in Riverside, Calif.

LAST TIME OUT: A battle of first place teams and best friends highlighted the matchup on Saturday night. Angie Kristensen's DSC squad and LaNay Larson's Academy of Art squad each entered with  a 10-2 record. Dixie State was seeking revenge for the early January loss, a 60-59 upset. This time out, DSC won 80-64 behind Eric Hayes 18 points to take over sole possession of first place and run their win streak to seven games. The Red Storm also shot 50 percent from the field and held ART U to 30.6 percent.

AROUND THE PACWEST:  Dixie State (11-2) holds a half game lead over Grand Canyon (10-2) atop the PacWest standings. ART U is in 3rd with a 10-3 record and the Red Storm opponent this week Cal Baptist is in fourth at 9-3.

SCOUTING the RED STORM: Playing the first of two games against the Lancers in home and home contests. Dixie State will look to build on their seven game winning streak. Averaging 73.2 ppg and they are a perfect 13-0 when they score at least 70 points. DSC has scored 80 or more points three of the last four times out. The Red Storm have three players who score in double figures. Sheila Adams (Layton, UT/Layton) leads the way with 15.0 ppg. Center Becca Thomas (Riverside, CA/Redwood) chips in 12.2 ppg and guard Erica Hayes (East Palo Alto, CA/Menlo-Atherton) scores 11.4 ppg. The Red Storm will need to take care of the ball on Tuesday night and turn the ball over less than their season average of 19.2 a game. The Red Storm look the three pointer to score a majority of the points. They average 6.3 per game and connect on 32.6 ppg.

SCOUTING CAL BAPTIST: The Lancers have lost three of their last seven contests, including a 56-67 loss to Grand Canyon. The Lancers are currently in fourth place in the conference at 9-3. They are a dangerous offensive team, averaging a PacWest best 74.2 ppg. Three players average in double figures for CBU. Junior guard Myria Hicks leads the way with 14.5 ppg, junior guard Simone Holmes at 12.3 ppg and junior forward Brittney Lewis adds 10.5 ppg.  The leading rebounder for the Lancers is Nicole Anderson at 6.6 pgg.
