SERIES: Dixie State leads NDNU 8-5

GAME INFO:  The Red Storm will conclude their San Francisco Bay Area road trip with a Saturday afternoon affair with Notre Dame de Namur, tip off is scheduled for 1 p.m. Mountain from the Walter Gleason Gymnasium. Listen to the live action on the Red Storm Radio Network -- KXDS 91.3 FM -- and online via DixieAthletics.com with John Potter calling the play-by-play.

SERIES RECORD: This will be the 14th meeting between the two squads with DSC holding a 8-5 all-time series advantage over the Argonauts. DSC has won the last four meetings, including a 74-69 win on 12/15/11 in Saint George. DSC is 2-4 all-time at the Walter Gleason Gymnasium

LAST TIME OUT: On Thursday night the Red Storm got back on the winning track and cruised to a 89-59 win over Dominican University after being tripped up Academy of Art on Tuesday night. Sheila Adams (Layton, UT/Layton) scored a season high 26 points and Becca Thomas (Riverside, CA/Redwood) scored a career high 19 points in the win. Both ladies had nine rebounds. The Red Storm also shot 49.3 percent from the field and had a season high 55 rebounds in the game. They led by as many as 35 points in the game.

A MILESTONE: Coach Angie Kristensen is fast approaching the 100 win mark at Dixie State. She needs just three wins to accomplish the feat. She is currently 97-49 at the helm of the Red Storm.

AROUND THE PACWEST: With a full slate of games taking place on Thursday night, the PacWest race returned to normalcy. Dixie State defeated Dominican, Grand Canyon blew out NDNU, Hilo was a winner at BYU-Hawaii, Hawaii Pacific cruised to an easy win over Chaminade and first place Cal Baptist squeeked by Academy of Art.

SCOUTING the RED STORM:  With the Red Storm winning the first meeting between the two schools in early December, NDNU will be looking for redemption on their home floor. DSC is coming off an easy win over Dominican were they were able to regain some confidence on the shooting end of the floor. Having 11 of the 12 player score in the game gave everyone some needed confidence. Last time out against the Argonauts, the Red Storm shot just 17 percent from three point range. They will need to shoot better than that to win on the road.Leading the way for the Red Storm is Sheila Adams (Layton, UT/Layton) at 15.6 ppg. The Red Storm shoot 32.2 percent from behind the arc and 40.1 percent from the field. They average 73.5 ppg and will need to limit the number of turnovers they commit.

SCOUTING NOTRE DAME DE NAMUR: Having won only two of their last nine games, the Argonauts will be hungry for a win. They have already beaten Grand Canyon earlier this year and are capable of giving DSC fits. Their Freshman Taylor Dewees is averaging 14.8 ppg has caused havoc for DSC and other PacWest opponents. Averaging just 59.7 ppg and they shoot 37.3 percent from the field and 31.3 from behind the arc.
