SERIES: DSC leads the series 10-0

GAME INFO:  DSC travels to the Island of Oahu after spending the first three days of the 10 day road trip on the Big Island of Hawaii.  The Red Storm meet Chaminade for the first time this season and tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. Mountain time inside McCabe Gymnasium. Listen to the live action on the Red Storm Radio Network -- KXDS 91.3 FM -- and online via DixieAthletics.com with John Potter calling the play-by-play.

SERIES RECORD: This is the 11th meeting between the two schools and Dixie State leads the all time series 10-0. Last time out, the Red Storm defeated the Silverswords 79-34 in McCabe Gymnasium on 3/2/11. DSC has averaged 88.0 ppg to Chaminade's 47.3 ppg in the all-time series. That's a 40.7 ppg average for the Red Storm.

LAST TIME OUT: Hawaiian native Kirsten Marie Liana (Honolulu, HI/Farrington) scored a career high 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds off the bench to ignite DSC to a 59-51 win over Hawaii Hilo. Becca Thomas (Riverside, CA/Redwood) went 6-8 from the field and scored 14 points and grabbed five rebounds. DSC held the Vulcans to just 25.9 percent from the floor.

AROUND THE PACWEST:  Academy of Art sits atop the conference standings with a 8-2 record and GCU, Cal Baptist and the Red Storm each have a 7-2 record. All four teams won games on Monday night and continue to keep a tight race a the top of the standings.

SCOUTING the RED STORM:  On paper the Red Storm look to be the odds on favorite by averaging 70.8 ppg. With a solid performance from Becca Thomas (Riverside, CA/Redwood) and Kirsten Marie Liana (Honolulu, HI/Farrington) on Monday night in Hilo, look for the bigs to have another solid night. Leading the way for the Red Storm is senior Sheila Adams (Layton, UT/Layton) at 15.1 ppg. Outside shooting woes have continued for DSC, going 2-15 on Monday night. For the season they shoot 30.7 percent from behind the arc and 39.0 percent from the field.

SCOUTING CHAMINADE: The SeaWarriors enter tonight's game with a 27-game losing streak. They average 52.2 ppg and allow 73.5 ppg. Leading the way is Jordan Ahakuelo at 9.3 ppg. Chaminade's rebounding margin is -11.5 and averages just 34.5 rebounds per game. They shoot 30.9 percent from the field and 22.6 percent from three point range.
