SAINT GEORGE, UT-Hawaii Hilo's do it all Hillary Hurley had 30 kills, 17 digs, five block assists, and 2 service aces to lead the Vulcans to a 25-19, 25-22, 25-21 drubbing of the Dixie State College volleyball team.
 
The Red Storm (6-5, 1-2 PWC) could not find a solution to the stellar play of Hurley, despite Alex Shearer (Park City. UT/Park City) collecting 18 kills, a record for a three set match.
 
The Vulcans (8-2, 4-2 PWC) used a balance attack and stellar outside play. Kirsten Sparnaalj added 12 kills to help them hit .256 for the match. UHH also added nine team blocks for the match.
 
Brita Jensen (Taylorsville, UT/Taylorsville) added nine kills, Morgan Hill (Logan. UT/Logan) had three kills and four blocks as the Red Storm hit .153 for the match. Jayci Jeffress (Brighton. CO/Brighton) had 18 digs.
 
Dixie State will look to rebound concluding their four-game home stand with BYU-Hawaii on Wednesday night at 7:00 PM in the Student Activities Center.
