SAINT GEORGE, UT-Junior guard Veronica Siqueiros (Phoenix, AZ/Trevor G Brown) scored 18 points and added six rebounds leading Dixie State College to a 82-65 win over Dominican University of California.

Despite a seesaw affair in the first fifteen minutes of the first half that featured seven ties, the Red Storm went on a 20-6 run to end the half with a 48-34 lead.

Dixie State (14-8, 10-3) would lead by as many as 26 points in the second half of the game. The Red Storm would shoot 38 percent for the game and get 44 points off the bench to lead them to victory and an outside shot at a PacWest title.

Siqueiros would lead all scorers with her 18, followed by Jessie Ingraham (Tuscon. AZ/Canyon Del Oro) and Deanna Daniels (North Las Vegas, NV/Centennial) with 12 points a piece and finally Johnna Brown (Las Vegas, NV/Centennial ) finished with 10 points.

Red Storm forward Tanya Clark (Beaumont. CA/Beaumont) led players with 10 rebounds.

For the Penguins (5-19, 2-11 PWC), Melissa Wise and Shawna Bryant each added 14 points in the loss.
