SCOUTING DOMINICAN: The Dominican Penguins have given the best teams in the conference some scares during Pac West play. In their first year in the conference, Dominican had defeated UH Hilo and Grand Canyon while giving HPU an overtime test in Honolulu. Tonight, the Penguins will be without leading scorer, freshman Austin Bryan. He suffered a knee injury against NDNU and did join the team on this road trip. Bryan averages 19.3 PPG on the season with a boost to 21.5 PPG in the Pac West. Look to the frontcourt duo of F Alex Ward and C Killian Larson to try and pick up some of the points left behind by Bryan's absence. Dominican University is coached by Bret Tovani, the longtime San Rafael basketball luminary.
