The Red Storm had a slim two-point lead at the half shooting 25-percent from the floor after one of the most sluggish halves of basketball all season. The squad made a complete-180 and hit 60-percent in the second half. DSC used a 29-2 run halfway through the second period to seal the win over the Silverswords. The 69 points by Dixie eclipsed a record for points in a half.

Dixie State outshot Chaminade 44.4-percent to 37.3-percent and bested the battle of the board 51-40. The Red Storm forced 21 steals and 32 total Chaminade turnovers.
