SAINT GEORGE, UT-Riding the wave of the victory of #18 Hawaii Hilo on Saturday night, the Red Storm welcomed BYU-Hawaii to town. The Red Storm dropped a five set match to the Seasiders 25-22, 22-25, 25-22, 22-25, 9-15. The team is playing its third match in four days played with little emotion most of the evening. As a result, losing to a more motivated BYU-Hawaii(7-9, 4-3). With the loss, Dixie State(11-5, 5-2) will drop out of a tie for first place and into second place all alone in the PacWest. Leading Dixie State was Katie Luna (Mesa. AZ/Westwood High '05) with 16 kills, followed by 12 kills from Alex Shearer (Park City. UT/Park City) and 11 kills from Madisyn Fitzgerald (Mesa, AZ/Mountain View). Jayci Jefress led DSC with 31 kills. Leading the Seasiders with 20 kills was Losaline Faka'osi. The same two teams with play again in the Old Gym tomorrow evening at 7:00 PM.
