ST GEORGE. UT-Dixie State College welcomed PacWest oppenent Hawaii-Hilo to town on Tuesday night. UHH entered tonights match heavily favored. touting a 13-5 overall record and 3-2 in PacWest. Dixie State has not beaten UHH since their entry into the NCAA.

By collecting only 3 kills in the first game. Dixie State lost handily 25-17. UHH (14-5. 4-2 PACWEST) collected 9 kills. 

Dixie State(6-9. 2-3 PACWEST) dominated the next two games. winning 25-19 and 25-14. In the two game they collected 31 kills and only commited 2 errors. In game four. UHH rallied back and to win game four 25-18.

In game 5. Dixie State was not able to capitalize on two UHH service errors. losing the game 15-11.

Dixie State was lead by Freshman outside hitter Alex Shearer (Park City. UT/Park City). who collected 16 kills and hit a stellar .556. Anna Bullard (Farmington. UT/Davis HS '07) collected 49 assists.

Hawaii Hilo was led by Josimara Pinheiro's 18 kills.

The two teams will be in action tomorrow night at 7PM. in the Old Gym.
