The Dixie State volleyball team found its biggest challenge of the season Wednesday night. but the BYU-Hawaii Seasiders showed why they're the No. 3-ranked team in the Division II West Region coaches poll.

The Seasiders came away with a 25-22. 25-19. 25-15 win over Dixie State at the BYU-Hawaii gym.

"We played better than Tuesday night. but we played a much better team." said Dixie State interim coach Gregg Jensen.

Katie Luna (Mesa. AZ/Westwood High '05) had 11 kills with a .171 hitting percentage. while Cami Johnson (Morgan. UT/Morgan HS '06) had 10 kills and hit at a .310 clip for Dixie State (3-5 Pac West. 7-11 overall). Anna Bullard (Farmington. UT/Davis HS '07) added 24 assists.

Dixie State was idle on Thursday. but will face Hawaii-Pacific late tonight and conclude the four-game trip with a rematch against the Seasiders on Saturday.
