Molly Rouse

Molly Rouse is in her fourth season as Utah Tech's head women's soccer coach.
 
Coach Rouse came to Utah Tech after serving two seasons as an assistant coach at her alma mater, the University of Minnesota. In 2018, she helped lead the Golden Gophers to a Big Ten Tournament championship, which included a win over nationally-ranked Penn State in the title match, and an NCAA Tournament first round victory over Auburn.
 
Prior to her return to Minnesota, Rouse was an assistant coach as four other Division-I programs, including Iowa (2017-18), Nebraska-Omaha (2017), Buffalo (2015-16) and Alabama State (2014). Prior to her transition into coaching, Rouse played professionally for the Minnesota Kings and Vancouver Whitecaps in the Women's Premier Soccer League. 

Rouse played soccer collegiately at Minnesota for four seasons from 2007-10. She appeared in 88 career matches for the Golden Gophers and netted 18 total goals with 17 assists, including an assist in a school record tying five-straight matches in 2008.

Rouse graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Minnesota in 2010. She currently holds a U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) National "A-Senior" Coaching License. Coach Rouse is married to Dane Obermeyer, who will also serves as an assistant coach for the Utah Tech women's soccer team.
