Erin Dierickx is in her first season as an assistant coach for the Trailblazers women’s soccer program. In addition to her coaching duties, she works with the St. George Heat FC as the Technical Training Director and Speed and Agility Coach, and is currently coaching for Nevada ODP.
Prior to her arrival to DSU, Dierickx served as a head coach for the Sereno Soccer Club in Phoenix, Ariz., for which she was a boy’s and girl’s academy head coach and was the Girls Arizona NPL head coach. Additionally, she served as head coach for the Davenport (Iowa) West High School girl’s soccer team (2014-15) and was an assistant coach at St. Ambrose (Iowa) University in 2014.
Dierickx is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA) and has previously worked with the Western Australian Football League (2012) in Perth. She also has experience working with the National Premier League Men’s Soccer Team, The Quad City Eagles and the Arizona State Sun Devil soccer, softball, and wrestling programs.
A native of Marysville, Wash., Dierickx was a four-year starter at St. Ambrose, where she helped lead the Bees to a pair of league titles and two national tournament bids, and is ranked in the top-20 all-time at SAU in career goals scored and points. She graduated with honors from SAU with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Human Performance and Fitness in 2013. This past May, Dierickx completed work on a Master’s degree in Exercise and Wellness at Arizona State University, with a focus on fitness and conditioning, alongside publishing research on sarcopenia and teaching courses in the Kinesiology Program.
