Kacey Bingham

Kacey Bingham is in her fifth season as head coach of the Trailblazers. Bingham has led Dixie State to a 39-27-3 overall record, including a 33-16-1 PacWest mark, over her first four years on the DSU side.

Last season Bingham guided the Trailblazers to an 11-7-0 overall record, including victories in nine of their final 11 matches. The 11-win total also marked the third-straight season that Bingham has led the program to at least 10 wins in a season.

Over her tenure at DSU, Bingham has had 17 players earn all-Pacific West Conference honors, including one conference player of the year, along with four first-team and four second-team selections. In addition, two of her players have gone on to earn either NSCAA and D2CCA all-West Region honors.

Prior to her arrival at Dixie State, Bingham served as an assistant coach at Paradise Valley CC from 2004-05, before taking over as head coach ahead of the start of the 2006 season. Bingham posted a 125-14-8 overall record during her tenure at PVCC, including a 23-0-1 mark in leading the Pumas to the 2012 NJCAA national championship, their second national crown in three seasons, which culminated with a 3-0 triumph over top-seed Brevard CC in the national title match.

In 2010, Bingham led PVCC to a perfect 24-0-0 record and the first of two NJCAA crowns. She was also named ACCAC, NSCAA Region and National, and NJCAA Coach of the Year. For her combined efforts over her tenure on the Puma sideline, she was inducted into the PVCC Athletic Hall of Fame in 2017.

Bingham also coached at Pinnacle (AZ) High School, where she led the Pioneers to a 2011 state championship and had a perfect record of 21-0. Bingham was named 2011 AIA Region Coach of the Year and AIA Arizona Big Schools Coach of the Year. Bingham posted a 50-8-2 record at PHS is 50-8-2, and also coached for the top club in Arizona - SC del Sol.

A native of Phoenix, Ariz., Bingham graduated from Thunderbird High School in 2002. While in high school, she played with the Sereno Soccer Club and helped lead the club to four state championships. She also played within the Olympic Development Program. After high school, she went on to play soccer for Arizona State University and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Management in 2006.

Kacey and her husband Kyle are the parents of four sons - Braxton, Jace, Theo and Hawkens.
