Teddy Fletcher

Teddy Fletcher begins his first season as an assistant coach for the DSU women’s basketball program. Prior to his arrival to DSU, he coached at the boy’s high school level, first as an assistant coach before serving as head coach (2014-15) at Bishop Mora Salesian High School in Los Angeles. While at BMSHS, he led the Mustangs to the Max Preps Holiday Classic tournament championship.

Fletcher has also coached in a number of adult leagues, including The Drew League and The Midnight Madness, which is an organization that helps inner city youth stay off the streets and inside a basketball gym.

He was a member of the Fresno State men’s basketball team for two seasons under legendary basketball coach Jerry Tarkanian, and also played one season at the College of the Sequoias. A native of Inglewood, Calif., Fletcher was team captain and point guard at Inglewood HS, where he helped lead the Sentinels to four-straight Bay Area titles.
