Adam Ross

Adam Ross is in his second season as assistant coach of the DSU women’s program. Ross joined the staff in November 2014.

Prior to coaching at DSU, he played two seasons for the Red Storm men’s basketball team under Jon Judkins from 2008 to 2010, where he started in 41 of 44 games played. He helped lead Dixie State to its first PacWest Conference championship and first NCAA Tournament appearance, and led the team in assists, steals, and minutes played as a senior.

Ross played his first two years of college basketball at Rio Hondo College in Whittier, Calif., from 2006 to 2008. As a sophomore, he started in all 30 games for the Roadrunners, averaging 10.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game.

Ross graduated from Dixie State with a degree in Communication and Theatre in 2010. He completed his Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Fort Hays State University in 2015.

In addition to his coaching duties, Adam works in the DSU Multicultural/Diversity Center as Activities Coordinator. Prior to joining the women’s coaching staff, Ross helped with local basketball camps and clinics around the area.

Adam and his wife Jordyn, a former DSU women’s soccer player, have two children: Imani (3) and Zyrie (1).
