For sparking the DSU baseball offense from the top of the lineup, redshirt freshman Drew McLaughlin has been named the Male Athlete of the Week presented by Northwestern Mutual.

McLaughlin had five hits (.357 average) including a double and his first collegiate home run during Dixie State’s four-game Pacific West Conference sweep of Hawaii Pacific. He scored three times from the leadoff spot in the lineup.
