Winding down what has been an exciting regular season for Dixie State men’s hoops, one senior had an awesome week on the court. Kimball Payne set a season-high in points one game and assists in another to be named Northwestern Mutual Athlete of the Week.
Payne excelled running the point for Dixie State in a 3-0 week, averaging 12.7 points and 9.0 assists per game. He also registered a 6.8 assist-to-turnover ratio. He recorded his first career double-double with 13 points and 12 assists, against just one turnover, against Chaminade. He was named to the PacWest Final Five.

Hayden Christensen (GOLF): 2nd place finish at the Pat Hicks Thunderbird Invitational at Sunbrook Golf Course. Shot a two-round score of six-under (68-70, 138).
Zach Robbins (MBB): He averaged 19.0 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game. His rebounding average included 7.0 defensive boards per game. He recorded a pair of double-doubles with 20 points and 12 rebounds against BYU-Hawaii, and 20 points and 15 rebounds against Chaminade. Named PacWest Defensive Player of the Week.
