With a career-high scoring night off the bench against Holy Names, men's basketball player Robbie Nielson has been named the DSU Male Athlete of the Week.

The sophomore scored 12 points last week against Dominican and backed it up with an exciting 14 point night against the Hawks. He went 5-of-9 from the floor with a 3-pointer and 3-of-4 from the free throw line. Nielson made up for a missed one-handed slam early in the second half with a pair of resounding dunks that thrilled the Burns Arena crowd.

For Nielson, it is his first Athlete of the Week honor.

- John Conquy (BASE): threw four scoreless innings of relief for the Storm at Cal Poly Pomona
- Donald Glover (BASE): hit. 400 for the CPP series with three doubles and three RBI
- Dalton Groskreutz (MBB): led the Storm with 17 points in a win over Holy Names
