For her consistent effort in two tough road losses this week, DSU forward Haileigh Emerine has been named Athlete of the Week. She shot 50 percent from the floor for the week and led Dixie State averaging 13.5 rebounds per game. Emerine tied her career-best with 16 rebounds on Monday at Azusa Pacific.

Honorable mention to Kaylah Miller for her record-breaking performance at APU on Monday. She made eight 3-point baskets, the most for any DSU women's player in a single game. Her eight buckets was one better than Courtney Boyd
