PHOENIX, AZ - Dixie State senior middie Mikala Wilkes (Cedar Hills, UT/Lone Peak) has been named the Pacific West Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Week.
The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Oct. 5, for games played Sept. 28-Oct. 4.
Wilkes had a phenomenal game against Academy of Art on Sept. 28 in a 7-0 Red Storm thumping. She scored four goals, added an assist, and finished the day with a nine-point effort.
Wilkes tallied a natural hat-trick by scoring three straight goals from the 40th minute through the 70th minute and had her hand in Dixie State’s final five goals of the game.
